Practice Info:	I provide counseling services for individuals, families, couples and groups. I am an eclectic therapist and therefore utilize aspects of a variety of therapeutic models, predominantly Cognitive Behavioral and Christian. I have experience with all ages (8 and up), but specialize in adolescents and their families. I help clients improve communication skills, express feelings, resolve conflict and learn how to relate better to the people around them. My clients are typically dealing with a variety of issues, including the following: attentional and learning issues, mood difficulties, social problems, family, marital and/or blended family conflict, anxiety and high functioning Autism. My Christian faith is a significant part of who I am as a person and a therapist. I respect each client's beliefs and background, but my approach to counseling is guided by my faith in Jesus Christ. When appropriate, I pray with clients and invite God's presence into the counseling session. I love helping my clients understand and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Bio:	I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years experience in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings, including Inpatient, Residential, Chemical Dependency and for the last 10 years, Outpatient services in a private practice setting. My undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts) in Psychology and Philosophy is from the University of Colorado and my graduate degree in Social Work (MSW) is from the University of Denver. I have an active licence in Clinical Social Work, as well as a Professional Services License from the Colorado Department of Education. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
