Practice Information

I have used various therapuetic approaches depending on what fits my individual patient. I focus alot on the mind, body connection and how that effects are thoughts and emotions and behaviors. I have done lot of work with families, couples and adolescents and children as well as individuals. Some of my patients have dealt with depression, anxiety, parenting issues, chronic illnesses, addiction, adoption and foster care, post traumatic stress disorder, communication issues and grieving and adjustment. I also have done alot of work on solution and problem solving with my clients to empower them to help find their tools and strengths within. And have been very successful with this approach.

I have worked as a social worker, and I am an adoptive mother to two, who are now two grown young ladies, author and licensed marriage and family therapist. I have worked for years in the therapuetic and counseling field. Which includes running programs, foster care agencies, schools, mental health and now private practice. I have been in this field for over 20 years.
