Online NARM Basics Training
Become a NARM-Informed Professional

We are excited to offer an online professional training in the NeuroAffective Relational Model® (NARM®), a unique and powerful approach for professionals who work with Complex Trauma. This continuing education program is a psychoeducational training to support you in becoming more trauma-informed in your work.

NARM offers a comprehensive framework for addressing attachment, relational, developmental, cultural and intergenerational trauma, by identifying the survival patterns that cause life-long psychobiological symptoms and interpersonal difficulties. Supported by a greater understanding of the long-term impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), NARM has become a leading model within the Trauma-Informed Care movement.

Over the past decade, thousands of mental health professionals around the world have been clinically trained as NARM Therapists. But NARM is also an educational model that can support other helping professionals working with Complex Trauma. We have been inspired by so many requests from individuals and organizations that in the Summer of 2020 we launched the Level 1 NARM-Informed Professional Training!

The intention of this online professional training is to make learning NARM accessible during a time when trauma-informed care is needed more than ever before. We recognize that many helping professionals may have obstacles in attending our live events due to travel, financial or work considerations, so it is our intention to make NARM as accessible as possible. This live online psychoeducational training is designed for those of you in mental health, healthcare, addiction treatment, education, coaching, and other fields working with clients or populations dealing with Complex Trauma.

In this Level 1 NARM Online Basics Training, participants will learn more about the rapidly evolving field of trauma-informed care, a deeper understanding of the impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences and Complex Trauma, and how NARM, one of the first models specifically designed to address Complex Trauma, can support you as a helping professional in addressing Complex Trauma.

Please note: This trauma-informed, professional training is not appropriate for those solely seeking a personal growth experience.

Training sessions will occur 8:00 am - 2:30 pm Pacific Time each day.

Module 2: March 3 - 5, 2023
