We have to face various challenges and some of them are unwanted and beyond our total control. At times they cause a lot of distress and upset, and it's difficult to work through it all alone. And yet, sometimes our family and friends are too close, and we don't want to talk to them about certain things. Other times, family and friends are either part of the problem, or no matter how much they try, they just don't get it. If you are someone who, no matter how much you try just can't seem to feel calm, confident, or relaxed, have too much on your plate, or never reach a sense of relief, we can work together to help you feel better. I would consider it a privilege to help you decrease your anxiety, stress, and overwhelming feelings while helping you build coping skills and ways to feel better so you can feel confident and capable.
Together we combat unhelpful beliefs, strengthen self-esteem, improve relationships by communicating effectively, create a self-care regimen, and calm down the stress of life so you feel more peaceful and in control. Therapy is hard work, takes courage, and is a commitment to yourself. It can help you develop confidence and healthy coping to deal with the things that cause you distress. If you're ready to start caring for yourself in a new way and want to gain support, guidance, encouragement, and care, let's work together to get you feeling better.
I have been providing various counseling and therapy services for the past six years. I help adults and adolescents decrease their depression, anxiety, stress, mood swings, and impulsive behaviors.

One of my strengths is searching for and identifying resources, services, and additional care options for those with whom I work. Sometimes counseling and therapy is just what people need, and other times people may benefit from additional health-related services. You will find me to be someone who will encourage, educate, sometimes challenge, and invite you to try new things such as helpful exercises, or new coping skills. We will work together to determine what is most important for you to work on and develop an idea of how you would like things to be different so we know what goals we are working toward. Some of those goals may take a while, but others may be more short-term. You are unique, so how I work in therapy is going to be unique to you and to the goals and kind of life you want to work toward

Overall, I believe that my down-to-earth attitude, strong enthusiasm, and sometimes funny personality, my commitment to connect, and passion to help people grow, will create a safe and comfortable environment for you. It will allow you to talk, express, and share as we explore the issues and concerns that are most pressing for you as you begin counseling services.
