Another Look at Healing, LLC is a confidential, private therapy and wellness practice. We are committed to providing therapy and counseling to individuals who want to change their lives and are ready to begin the journey.

Our clients are regular, everyday people who are struggling with life's difficult ups and downs. Some of these issues are anxiety and depression, stress and trauma, women's wellness issues including self esteem and body image, relationship problems and hard life transitions.

Counseling will be tailored to meet your specific, individual needs. By using a practical approach and collaborating with you, we can find your path to a happy, healthy, fulfilled and meaningful life through the process of therapy. It might not seem so, but it is possible to start feeling good about yourself and your life and stop feeling depressed and anxious right now.

With flexible hours and reasonable rates, we are ready to help during difficult times.
Education/Training
Amy holds a Masters degree in Social Work with a Clinical focus in Mental Health from The University of Maryland, School of Social Work. Throughout her Master's degree, she worked with a variety of individuals with a range of issues to help them find the paths to happier, healthier, more fulfilling lives. Amy is also certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), a specialized training to help individuals and organizations during crises. Amy has recently become a member of the National Association of Professional Women, an organization recognizing the country's most accomplished professional women.
Bio
Amy uses her warm personality along with her holistic approach to engage her clients in the therapeutic process. She has a supportive, collaborative relationship with clients, allowing for deep personal growth and healing. She uses practical, solution focused interventions to tailor therapy to meet the specific needs of each individual client. She has experience working with individuals, couples and families. Her specialties are stress and anxiety, depression, women's wellness issues, difficult life transitions, relationship issues, and job related concerns. Amy uses an empowerment perspective to help clients explore their inner selves to find their personal strengths.

In order to reach out to more individuals in need, Amy opened her own private practice, Another Look at Healing, LLC in Montgomery County, MD. The focus of this practice is on you, the client, and what your needs are.
