Bio
Anissa Pfannenstiel, LCSW obtained her Minority Studies Degree in 1998 from WSU and her Clinical Social Work degree from Newman University in 2001. Prior to her schooling, she was drawn to learning about the mind and altered states of consciousness and learning about the deep healing process that can be obtained using hypnotherapy and became a certified Hypnotherapist in 1999. Since that time, Anissa has worked in a variety of settings from Emergency Mental Health Services, in schools with adolescents and in partial hospitalization programs.

Over the years, becoming more versed in transpersonal psychology (integrating spirituality into therapy) and Eastern healing modalities, Anissa began to shift the way she viewed the traditional approach of diagnosing and labeling patients. Thus, Anissa began to use a combination of Japanese Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy and using altered stated of consciousness to assist her clients in moving forward in their lives.
