So You Need to Make Some Changes?......
DO YOU FEEL HOPELESS OR LACKING PURPOSE?!?!... struggling with feelings of emptiness, guilt, anxiety, or depression? Do you feel you are using alcohol or drugs in excess? Do you have difficulties with relationships or family discord? If so, please know that your life CAN be different, and I can help you make the changes to give you "you" back. Together we will develop a plan to strategically address YOUR areas of concern to get you "back on the right track" as quickly as possible.

As Albert Einstein said "You cannot solve your problems with the same mind that created them." Give me a call and we can figure it out..
I was born and raised in Albuquerque…..I’m a life-long resident, and I absolutely LOVE this city, the people, and culture. I am married with 2 kids and enjoy running, working out, and I just completed my first triathlon (though I was pretty much at the end of the pack!) I find that having a sense of humor in therapy may prove better than any therapeutic technique, and you’ll likely find me drinking a Diet Pepsi (not Coke!) in session. Hang on for the ride of your life…..though difficult- therapy CAN be fun! I look forward to meeting with you! Just a note, therapy wouldn't be complete without the presence of my "therapy" beta fish, "Sigmund."

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2003 with a Master's Degree in Social Work- one of the top ten schools for this track. I chose this degree over Psychology or Counseling as Clinical Social Workers provide the largest portion of psychotherapy in the United States and are trained in a more comprehensive approach, rather than just "fixing" the individual. Following my graduation from U.S.C., I returned to Albuquerque to work at a non-profit agency where I was hired on as a therapist and eventually became a Program Director, a Clinical Supervisor and an Assistant Clinical Director, supervising all facets of a 24/7 Residential Treatment Center from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, I discovered that community-based, outpatient therapy was more “for me,” and I decided to venture into private practice. Quite a journey, but well worth it…..

Concurrently, I am also a college professor and teach both Psychology and Sociology courses at the University of Phoenix and ITT Tech
