Life is a series of adjustments... it is normal to get stuck at points along the way. Most of my clients are regular people just like you and me whose Life has gotten too far out of balance. I have learned through my years of practice how to facilitate the rebalancing and, even more importantly, how to help clients learn the lessons inherent in their crisis.
I have been practicing at the same location for over 20 years. I am involved in the training and supervision of other therapists in both EMDR and Internal Family Systems.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, trainer and certified therapist in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, and an approved consultant and certified therapist in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). These are two of a number of recent and advanced models of psychotherapy sometimes referred to as "accelerated models of therapy". I especially resonate with the IFS model because it is so respectful of the client and provides a safe, non-pathologizing context within which clients are able to heal themselves rather than simply learn how better to manage their lives. When true healing happens, a person doesn't have to try to do things differently... they are different and different behavior and choices flow from that internal shift. Life gives us all opportunities for growth and development... what we do with those choice points is the difference between a Life well lived and something else.
