Dedicated to awakening the greatest potential in you!
Over 20 years experience in body-mind-spirit transformation
Do you have that feeling inside that there is more to life, but you don't know what to do about it? Perhaps you've achieved many of your goals, thinking they would make you truly happy, but they haven't. Or maybe you're just feeling frustrated, down, and lost. You have a longing for a more fulfilling life, and you're ready to find that now. You've probably already started exploring your spiritual path, and now want to take the next step towards greater inner fulfillment.

If this speaks to you, you've found the right place. I honor your whole Being - body, mind, heart, and spirit - in our work together, for to heal and transform we must embrace our whole Self. I can assist you in moving past the blocks, healing the past, changing your perspective, transforming your relationships, and finding your authentic self and renewed inspiration in your life.

I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist over twenty years of experience in counseling and psychotherapy, and am skilled in a variety of methods to assist you in the journey of healing and transformation. According to what works for you, our sessions may include breathing practices, art, dreamwork, body awareness, subpersonality dialogue, transformative thinking, affirmations, visualization, cognitive therapy, yoga, and much more.
With over 20 years of experience as both a counselor and yoga teacher, I have a unique method of intergrating body, mind, heart, and spirit in my counseling practice.

I began my studies of yoga in 1991, at the same time I was earning my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at JFK University in Orinda, CA. Instantly, I sensed a calling to teach, and in 1993, while practicing counseling as an intern, I also began teaching yoga. I became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1999.

Over the years of studying various modalities of psychotherapy, including art therapy, visualization, subpersonality diaglogue, Enneagram, and dreamwork, in addition to traditional “talk” therapy, I have found that an intergration of these many therapeutic styles with body-mind wisdom has been an effective and transformative experience for her clients. I utilize breath awareness, physical sensations, movement, and occasionally yoga postures in my work with counseling clients, and have been influenced by Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. As a Transpersonal psychotherapist, I see the integration of one’s spiritual values and practices as essential to the process of personal transformation.

In addition to my counseling background, I have taught yoga since 1993, and have lead a variety of workshops, retreats, and yoga and meditation classes throughout the SF Bay area. I currently serve on the faculty of three Yoga Teacher Training programs: YES Yoga Teacher Training in San Jose, Mind-Body Zone in Fremont, and the Yoga and Movement Center in Walnut Creek, CA. My integration of self-awareness, spirituality, and insight from my experience as a transpersonal therapist is apparent in my yoga classes, and my holistic body-mind-spirit approach from years of teaching yoga infuses my work with counseling clients.

Additionally, I was ordained in March 2012 as an Interfaith minister by East-West Interfaith Seminary.
