Bio
Many of my travels and much of my training has been to educate myself in how to facilitate healing the whole person- body, mind, and soul. My academic studies have been in the States but my energy healing studies have been with teachers, healers, and shamans all over the world, including North, South, and Central America, China, Bali, Australia, and the Philippines. With 20 years experience as an RN and 30 years as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine plus a degree in counseling psychology and training in shamanic healing, my practice is very eclectic. I use many forms of energy medicine to facilitate balancing of my patients so their bodies can do what they know how to do, ie. self heal. This may include acupuncture, essential oils, homeopathy, flower essences, sound and color therapy, plus imagery and hypnosis, and shamanic healing depending on what is appropriate for each individual patient's needs. Our bodies know how to heal themselves so anything any of us does with our patients simply supports this process.
