Dr. Brian Buggie is a board-certified, licensed New York City psychiatrist with a private clinical practice trained in both medication management and talk therapy to treat all adult psychiatric issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, substance abuse, eating disorders, personality disorders, work stress, and relationship issues. He approaches each patient in a holistic, caring, and nonjudgmental manner.
Education/Training
Dr. Buggie graduated from the University of New Mexico summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological anthropology and then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He completed his psychiatry residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University.
Bio
Dr. Buggie graduated from the University of New Mexico summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological anthropology and then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He completed his psychiatry residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University. In addition to his private clinical practice, he also works as an attending physician in several psychiatric emergency rooms with admitting privileges at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital and on a local Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.
