Six Fishes Chinese Medicine and Healing Arts is a trusted authority on acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Cara Frank is the founder and head practitioner of Six Fishes. In practice for over 27 years, Cara has treated thousands of patients with a wide variety of health concerns.

Acupuncture originated in China over 3,000 years ago and is presently used as a primary health care modality throughout the world. Traditional Chinese medicine views disease as the result of an imbalance or blockage in the body's natural energy flow. Chinese Medicine treats the whole person by viewing the body, mind and spirit as being on a continuum. Patients feel relief from their symptoms and a renewed sense of vitality and peace.

While our practitioners work with a multitude of health problems, we have a special focus on internal medicine. Among the varied problems that our patients seek relief from are: allergies, muscular-skeletal disorders, digestive problems, headaches, pediatric complaints, PMS, menopause, hormonal imbalance, infertility and side effects of cancer treatments. Treatments integrate Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, massage and Nutritional Counseling.

Mission Statement
I believe that people bring their own experiences and personal responses to life’s challenges. The Chinese Medical system of health care recognizes our unique patterns and works to restore balance and vitality. Inherent in Chinese Medicine is a respect for our individuality.

Whether I am treating a back sprain or depression, I try to nurture people’s connections to themselves. Good health is not contingent on Chinese Medicine necessarily, but rather on an integrated approach of diet, lifestyle and respect for ones constitution. Chinese Medicine provides a vehicle for healing and integration that is stellar. Not only can symptoms be resolved, but also the underling mechanism can be harmonized.
