Christina Russell, LPC
Christina offers individual psychotherapy and counseling for adults and adolescents (ages 12 and up), group counseling for adults, and Psych-K. Psychotherapy can help you cope with depression, reduce anxiety and stress, increase self-esteem, improve relationships, increase self-awareness and self-understanding, find balance, transform limiting beliefs, and much more.
Christina’s practice of therapy is guided by the belief that people have an innate capacity for healing and growth and can gain access to their own inner resources in order to live more satisfying, joyful lives. She focuses on loving presence and creating a deep sense of safety and connection within the therapeutic relationship. She practices with the principles of mindfulness, nonviolence, organicity and body-mind-spirit holism as a guide in her work. She uses a respectful and collaborative approach and utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including client-centered active listening, Hakomi mindfulness-based psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems therapy.
GROUP COUNSELING
Group counseling provides valuable opportunities for healing and growth within a supportive community. One of the most valuable benefits is the opportunity to decrease isolation and shame
PSYCH-K
Psych-K is a uniquely effective whole-brain “technology” for belief change that aligns subconscious beliefs with conscious goals for rapid change. Psych-K engages both hemispheres of the brain to quickly and powerfully transform limiting, self-defeating subconscious beliefs into supportive beliefs.
