My passion is providing a holistic, effective alternative to address many health issues without side effects. In 1998 my journey into the holistic health field began as a licensed Practitioner of Massage Therapy and expanded to offer my patients Acupuncture in 2001.
Acupuncture works well not only for treating problems such as injuries, pain, indigestion, headaches, stress, anxiety and insomnia; it's also a great way to maintain your well being and prevent health problems. Acupuncture can even help you stave off a cold or speed your recovery from one. I do this for myself all the time. Wouldn't you prefer to spend your PTO or "sick days" doing something you enjoy instead of feeling ill?
Many of my patients haven't had acupuncture before and I feel it's important to let you know I have an understanding and respect for patients who may have a fear of needles. In fact, I myself was so fearful of needles that I didn't have my first acupuncture treatment until 6 months into my training. I was entirely relieved that the needles weren't anything like the pain of getting an injection.
I employ a gentle technique to allow your body to adjust to the needles before balancing the Qi. During your treatment session I incorporate non-needle therapeutics including fire cupping, tuning forks and massage therapy to enhance the acupuncture treatment so you leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like during your treatment; I'm happy to answer them.
I'm nationally board certified by the NCCAOM and licensed by the state of Washington for both Acupuncture and Massage Therapy. I hold additional certification in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Reiki.
Free consultations are to discuss whether treatment is an appropriate for you.
