Bio

Donna Resendez is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that our well-being is profoundly affected by the quality of our relationships. When working with individuals, couples, adolescents and families, Donna seeks to bring understanding to behaviors and assumptions that negatively affect those relationships. By developing awareness, individuals can learn how to choose how they interact with others instead of emotionally reacting to them.

Donna has been in private practice since 1995, helping clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, communication, and conflict resolution. She is a certified Domestic Violence Advocate and is trained in EMDR therapy, which helps clients resolve and heal from emotionally overwhelming or traumatic experiences. Donna also has experience leading a variety of group sessions, including pre-marital counseling, anger management, and self-empowerment workshops.

Clients who work with Donna can expect a safe, compassionate, and nurturing environment where they can share their thoughts, feelings, and goals. Donna brings her expertise and her passion to helping individuals overcome any obstacles that may be preventing them from achieving maximum personal satisfaction with their life.
