I am a male psychotherapist with 37 years experience in a diverse practice utilizing conventional counseling, body work, meditation / spiritual direction, trauma work and life coaching. A high percentage of my practice is men; I run groups for high functioning men who are seeking to be more effective in their relationships with their families, women and other men, as well as well as in deepening their connection to their own inner lives. I also have female clients who are working on their relationship to themselves and their partners (male and female). I am trained in Gestalt, body-centered psychotherapy, EMDR, Internal Family Systems and men's work, as well as main-stream psychotherapy techniques.
Education/Training
Doctorate in Chiropractic (1983) and a Master's in Clinical Social Work (1986). Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling (1986). Training in EMDR (Level II), Internal Family Systems (Level III), 2 years of Gestalt training, 20 years experience in Reichian Orgonomy, more than 35 years of experience in Men's work, including the Mankind Project and starting men's consciousness raising groups.
