Evelyn Goodman, Psy.D., LMFT
I am in private practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression and
relationship difficulties. I see individuals, couples, and families.
My approach to counseling and psychotherapy is highly integrative, using strategies
from many different models of treatment in a manner that best fits the needs and
the goals of the person.
Education/Training
I received my BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley in 1968, an M.A. in Psychology from California State
University at Northridge, CA in 1972. I began an internship with the TERRAP anxiety program in 1979 and
received a license as a Marriage & Family Therapist in 1983. In 1998 I earned my doctorate in Psychology at American Behavioral Institute in Orange County, CA. In 2001 I earned my Certificate as a specialist in
Health Psychology from ABI.

I have been specializing in the wholistic treatment of anxiety disorders since 1979.
Memberships
I am an active member of the American Association of Marriage and Family therapy,
the Anxiety Disorder Association of American, the California Association of Marriage and
Family therapists, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
