Bio
I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, guiding individuals and couples on the journey to healthy more joyful lives for 30 years. Many people seek therapy because they can no longer use their old coping skills to manage their lives and relationships. A lot of our “symptoms” (depression, anxiety, co-dependent behavior, substance abuse) are coping strategies gone wrong. The path to emotional health and a rewarding life includes reviewing old patterns, beliefs, and symptoms, and learning new, healthier, ways of relating in the world. In our busy lives, with so many pressures and demands put upon us, it is easy to forget to pay attention to our emotional and spiritual life. I enjoy working with both individuals and couples who are interested in creating a more joyful world for themselves.
