Recommendations
Michelle Conrad, Chicago
Heather was my go to consultant regarding children and adolescents. Not only did she have a wealth of resources, she was also able to supervise at moment's notice and was quick not to offer advice, but to offer insight, the best form of supervision.
It was a great pleasure to work under Heather and I can say I've learned so much from working with one of the best.
As a clinican, Heather is able to work with compassion and empathy in regards to all of her clients. She is insightful and willing to work with anyone!

As a colleague, I have worked closely with Heather, and I have found her very knowledgeable, creative and effective working with children and their families. She displayed compassion and resourcefulness as well as a strong ethical practice. I have always felt reassured when referring children to her for treatment. It was a pleasure working with her.

I would highly recommend Heather Schulien. Her kind, thoughtful approach has been extremely helpful and allows you to deal with your stress at your own pace. As a skeptic coming into to counseling, I had low expectations for results, but Heather is a professional, and knows what she is doing and how to guide.
Her office is flexable and makes it work with your schedule.
