Life is complex at all ages, yet knowing this does not necessarily help or give us direction. In my work, I try to help guide people through the complexities and nuances of life, examine choices and explore options, personal history, and experience.

I have a deep respect for my clients, for their wisdom and their struggles. I provide an encouraging and non-judgmental space to look at each unique concern and situation. I often explore the role of meaning and choice in our lives, and how both powerfully (but often invisibly) affect how we live our days.

While I work with many issues, I have specialties in sex therapy and bipolar disorder.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has worked in the field for over 20 years. I received my undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA and my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I have have had my private practice in Los Gatos since 2006.

I am a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). I am an adjunct lecturer at Santa Clara University in the Counseling Psychology Department, where I currently teach two graduate-level courses on Sexuality, and have taught other subjects as well. Over the past twenty years I have taught hundreds of graduate students.
