I took a non-traditional path to become a psychotherapist. I've worked in the arts, retail, non-profits, publishing, investment banks, as well as other industries. Because of my varied past, I bring insight and perspective to the treatment room. We work from your needs as the client. Though I listen bringing my training to the work, each client is unique and finds her or his own path to working through the challenges she or he faces. I work with clients to create more choices, to feel less trapped by the circumstances that may block her or him from achieving the life he or she would like to live.

Bio
I am trained as a clinician in British Object Relations . This is a therapeutic model that respects the client. The premise is to create an safe environment, a holding environment that facilitates the difficult work that can be psychotherapy. I've been practicing psychotherapy for over 15 years, having come to this profession in my late 30's. My life experience is to my client's advantage, since they benefit from my expanded frame of reference. Even so, I learn so much from my clients and feel it's a privilege to witness the courage it takes to do this work.
