I am often asked…”How can you listen to people’s problems all day long?” This is not at all what I do. I do not just listen to problems; I listen to people in their entirety. I hear the songs in their hearts, their dreams, their sadness and losses but most of all, I hear their answers. It is truly a joy to be a part of my clients’ process of discovery and finding happiness and solutions.

I have been in private practice for more than 30 years and am trained in most modalities. I am licensed as both a Psychologist and a Marriage and Family Therapist and am certified (APA) in the treatment of Substance Abuse Disorders, treating the addicted as well as their family members. I also provide treatment for depression, anxiety, panic disorders, marital or relationship problems, family of origin conflicts and attachment and loss.

My experience allows me to approach each client as an individual, without pre-determined agendas. Your sessions are about what you need!
