Restoring Deepening Connection in Marriage & Families
Marriage, Couples, Families, and Individual Counseling
Our desire is to be emotionally bonded in our relationships in a way that provides safety and security through any difficulty. Over time, some relationships may develop negative patterns that erode the ability to be safe for our partners. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in a safe therapeutic environment, provides relationships space to reconnect, reduce blaming and criticizing, and develop secure and fulfilling bonds that can last a lifetime.

Kimberly works with individuals, couples, and families to help build and restore and deepen connections through research based, proven methods, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR.

Specializing in couples recovering from infidelity.

After growing up in Northern California, Kimberly completed Psychobiology at the University of California, Davis. After a career combining her love for neuroscience and business, as a pharmaceutical sales representative, Kimberly stayed home to raise children until finishing her Masters in Marital and Family Therapy at Bethel Seminary, San Diego, Magna Cum Laude. Kimberly worked in the field of alcohol and drug addiction, with families, as a volunteer, and completed her internship with the Center for Grief Care and Education at San Diego Hospice, specializing in grief counseling with individuals, couples, and families.

Kimberly has served in various ministries and held leadership positions through her church in San Diego and integrates biblical principles into her practice with faith-based clients. For non-faith based clients, Kimberly's clinical training and clinical background provide a safe and calm environment in which to explore even the most troubling issues.

Kimberly is passionate about reconnecting couples in distress, especially after infidelity. Her training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, grief counseling, and special clinical training with treating couples after affairs. Provide her with a basis in which to understand couples' special needs during difficult times.

Personally, Kimberly has been married for 24 years and with her husband, is raising three children, two who are now adults. She is familiar with and understands the challenges marriages face in raising a family and navigating daily life, while staying connected to each other over time.
