Lahey Health Behavioral Services is a private, nonprofit agency that provides mental health, addiction treatment and community education and prevention services to residents in greater Boston, the North Shore and the Merrimack Valley, Massachusetts.

We serve adults, teens, families and children.

Services include outpatient mental health clinics; inpatient and outpatient treatment and prevention
for drug and alcohol problems; school-based programs; and community education and prevention initiatives.

Counseling Services to help you and your family to be successful at home, at work and in your community.Our multi-disciplinary teams include clinicalsocial workers, psychiatric nurses, psychologists, and licensed mental health and addiction counselors. We can help you through periods of stress and adjustment, such as dealing with issues of aging or adolescence; parenting a newborn; going through a separation or divorce or helping children through problems at school.

Psychiatric Services forindividuals who struggle to remain stable in the community.Our
psychiatric services are integrated into counseling treatment, and we use evidence-based practices
such as cognitive behavioraltherapy, motivational interviewing, emdr, and culturally specific services.

Youth Programs (under age 18 )to help adolescents and children to live and be successful at home and at school. Using a combination of therapy and support services for the youth and his or her family, we focus and build on existing strengths to improve mental health and family functioning.

We provide treatments for issues such as depression or anxiety, chronic mental illness, eating disorders, adhd, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and others.
