Point Well Taken Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine help your body get back to it's inherent state of balance and health. Acupuncture helps improve the flow of blood and energy. Chinese herbs can replenish and revive on an ongoing basis. I have a general medicine practice treating a wide variety of issues. Chronic illness, pain, fertility, and mental health issues being the largest portion of problems that I work with.
I love what I do and get great satisfaction from helping people realize better health in all respects.

Bio
My background is in Western Medicine as a nurse for 30yrs now. I also have a Master's in Public Health and worked in Clinical Trials research as well as in Public Health overseas. I came to Chinese Medicine after realizing that western medicine was missing something integral in it's approach to a whole person as a person made up of parts. I much prefer tending the garden of who we all are, to the parts of a machine without a spirit that I experienced in the hospitals.
I have been practicing Chinese Medicine since 1994 and utilize many different theories and styles in my practice. I continue to study with prominent figures in the field. I have a certification in Animal Acupuncture and will have completed a 3 year certification in Chinese Herbs as of Feb 2012 at which time I plan to sit for the national boards in Chinese Herbology.
