Turn Your Aches Into Ahhhhhs!
Therasoma Massage Therapy
I integrate a number of healing modalities that I have studied in the past twenty years. I ask clients to fill out a short intake form and we discuss expectations of what the massage will accomplish before the person climbs on the table.
I have a general outline in my mind of how I'll proceed. I also have a very strong intuitive sense which guides me in the healing work I do.
I do not talk during a massage, allowing the client to completely relax and attain a quiet state naturally. And the client is always right when they say the pain s/he's feeling under my fingers is too much. I back off a titch and see if that feels better.
I prefer to work with clients that want medium to deep pressure and are seeking relief from tight muscles, pain or stress.

Bio
Born and raised in San Diego, Linda met her husband in 1970 at San Diego State University. After earning a baccalaureate degree with honors, she and Perry moved to Juneau, Alaska in 1976.
Linda attended Heartwood Institute in Northern California in 1989, where she earned her massage therapist certificate, with a natural health counselor specialty. She started a private practice that year and since that time has given over 8500+ hours of hands-on bodywork professionally.
Linda was among the first group of massage therapists who took the newly created National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam in 1992. This organization and its test were established to evaluate and standardize massage excellence. Linda continues to renew her certification every four years with at least fifty hours of continuing education.
In 2005, Linda and Perry returned to San Diego to help his aging parents with their 2.5 acre farm in Santee. Linda feels blessed to continue her massage practice at the Executive Health Consultants building in El Cajon.
