Liza is a psychotherapist native to South Florida. Bilingual (Spanish), Liza lives as a diverse and multicultural example through her academic studies, professional career, personal lifestyle and travel. As a psychotherapist multicultural issues and diversity have always been of greatest importance. As a common theme in Liza's professional career, Liza has devoted her professional vision to service (seva) and guiding others to find their own path and fullest potential.
Liza has experience working in Human Resources in New York City where she conducted her first global research management survey. Additional work has included being a Promotional Specialist in sales, Yoga Instructor, Meditation/Relaxation program facilitator, psychotherapist, artist, illustrator, editor, writer, and continues to organize conscious related events throughout the nation. Throughout Liza's academic career she has been involved in research and independent studies since 2002. Liza has completed courses at Cornell University in the area of Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, and Law. Liza ended graduating with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy with a concentration in languages and arts from the Florida State University. Liza completed her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling Psychology at Argosy University. The most recent research Liza has continued during graduate studies involved Mindfulness techniques applied to clients in the field of psychotherapy.
Liza's background and training are grounded in traditional psychotherapy, yet she uses the approach which most aligns with clients needs. Liza helps clients with a broad variety of individual challenges under a scope of practice which merges Western and Eastern modalities. Using a strength-based holistic model of practice, Liza empowers her clients to develop in a nonjudgmental, trustworthy, and supportive atmosphere where the client may discover any emotional, physical, intellectual, and/or existential issues. Liza may use traditional psychotherapy techniques, art based therapy, music based therapy, sound and vibrational healing, and various additional tools appropriate for the client. Liza devotes her professional career to continued research applied to the field of counseling and psychotherapy, external and internal healthy balance , as well as daily mindful living.
