Lynn O'Connell, L.Ac. specializes in fertility enhancement using a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional support. At Vital Health, herbal formulas are customized for each individual and compounded from our extensive herbal pharmacy. Herbal formulas typically include between 10-15 herbs and are used to treat both men and women.
Acupuncture helps with conception by increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs, regulating the hormonal system and decreasing stress. When combined with herbal medicine, conditions like endometriosis and fibroids respond even better. Herbal medicine is also very effective at correcting any deficiencies which may exist in your body's Qi, blood, yin, yang and Jing/essence. Over time, Oriental Medicine improves the quality of eggs, sperm and the endometrial lining, increasing the chance of a successful implantation.
