Art Therapy in Orange County
Adoption specialist, EMDR trained
Art therapy in Orange County - benefits children, families, teens and adults when just words don't work. Absolutely no art experience or ability is needed.
Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art supplies, images and the creative process as additional tools to express thoughts & feelings and to resolve conflicts and confusions. You and I will work together to create goals that focus on your specific needs. Needs often addressed include reducing behavior problems, fears & anxiety, overcoming large and small traumas, improving social skills & self awareness, and lowering stress.
I have additional training and experience working with the unique challenges experienced by adoptive and foster families. Attachment issues are often pre-verbal and respond well to art interventions.
