Dr. Fonrose specializes in individual, child and adolescent, family therapy, group therapy, coaching, and maintains a private practice in Maryland. Dr. Fonrose counsels primarily from a cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic orientation. However, she draws from various approaches recognizing the uniqueness of each individual. Dr. Fonrose's therapeutic approach is to provide a warm, caring and safe environment where clients can address the obstacles that keep them from enjoying the most fulfilling life and reaching their highest goal--health.

Dr. Marie Fonrose earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from Saybrook University, a M.A. from Bowie State University, and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from University of Maryland. Marie has over 15 years of experience in the areas of counseling, educational consulting, teaching, and special education. She has worked extensively in the areas of college consulting assisting students to find the best college that suits their career ambition. Dr. Fonrose is an Associate Professor at Central Michigan University and an adjunct at Prince Georges Community College.
