Marsha Rand, PLLC
If you long to improve your relationship or have a more satisfying sex life, sex therapy or relationship counseling can help you create that intimate connection. I have worked with countless couples to help them heal old wounds and grow into adult relationships that are fulfilling. Sexual issues? Sexual pain or dysfunction?
Bio
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and AASECT certified sex therapist whose own journey has involved great change and personal growth. With years of experience as a conventional therapist, I now offer a holistic and transpersonal approach to counseling, consultation and life coaching in the greater Asheville area. I am an ongoing student and practitioner of indigenous healing methods and spirituality in a mindfulness tradition. My approach to healing focuses on the client’s inherent potential to achieve a healthy balance between mind, body, and spirit which may contribute to richer, more fulfilling relationships with self, others, and the Earth.
My background includes work in public mental health and non-profit organizations, hospital chaplaincy, grief counseling, and teaching. I continue to teach in the Counseling Psychology program at Prescott College, Prescott, Arizona.
