Mary E Rodela, M.S., LMFT
Mission Court Child And Family Counseling
I am a Bilingual (Spanish & English) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide clients with child, adolescent, adult, couples and/or family therapy.
I have established my private practice as a safe, confidential and trusting environment in which clients can express their thoughts and feelings in a positive healthy manner without fear of being negatively judged and where clients can broaden their options for long lasting personal change.
I believe in empowering individuals by teaching them how to tap into their internal strengths, to develop personal skills and more suitable ways of coping, and to increase clarity leading to choices and decisions when facing personal struggles and overcoming personal challenges.
I also assist families who are being challenged in their relationships with each other, with behavioral problems in school or at home, and in addressing underlying issues that may be the cause of feelings of sadness, depression or that emotionally trigger anxiety or anxious behaviors.
I will evaluate your individual needs and together we select an appropriate treatment plan. I provide clients with behavioral modification strategies, relaxation and stress management techniques, parenting education, relationship development and enhancement to improve your quality of life through effective communication skills.
My greatest joy is watching my clients take charge, with active participation in therapy, of their own life, path and journey.
