Mental Health Counseling Services of New York is a safe place where adults, teens, children, couples, and families can come to heal and get unstuck from life’s challenges. Sometimes life hands us more than lemons or a windy, bumpy road ahead of us. We can run into truly hard times, emotional stress, destructive relationships, trauma, and unhealthy patterns. ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING SERVICES OF NEW YORK
Mental Health Counseling Services of New York was established to service children, adults, and families who were seeking confidential counseling services for mental health, behavioral, and relationship issues. Dr. Michelle Perepiczka is the founder and has been practicing since 2007. Dr. Perepiczka received her doctorate from Texas A&M University-Commerce and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and Nationally Certified Counselor. She views each person as a unique individual who has his or her own story to tell and new chapters to write in life. She focuses on empowering you to use your personal strengths as well as motivating you to grow personally to reach the healthy lifestyle goals you set for yourself. Life has many choices and choosing to seek help can be the first step to a higher quality life.
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING SERVICES OF NEW YORK'S RANGE OF SERVICES
Mental Health Counseling Services of New York offers creative therapeutic approaches for adults as well as young children (age 3 and up). Individual counseling for a variety of struggles, parent-child relationship building, group counseling, and play therapy are offered. Professional services for clinicians such as supervision for state licensure and training in play therapy are also offered.

Dr. Michelle Perepiczka completed her doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision Doctoral Program at Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2008. Her specialization was in Child and Adolescent Counseling. She completed her Master's Degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University in 2006. Her specialization was in Play Therapy.
Dr. Perepiczka has general training and specialization in Play Therapy and Parent-Child Relationship Training. She works with clients of all ages with a variety of life concerns. Some of these issues include the following:
