Meredith Guarco, LPCc
It can be challenging to address our mental health, especially when society, our families, and our culture tell us it's taboo. I specialize in working with adults and teens in the Denver area from various cultures, backgrounds, sexualities, and gender identities who experience stress, trauma, and life adjustments. I work with individuals who are challenged with anxiety, relationship concerns, and substance use, and those in need of school and career counseling. I also work with individuals who struggle with women's issues including postpartum anxiety and depression, and infertility.
I find that a combination of narrative therapeutic techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy provides individuals with the self-esteem, confidence, and ownership to approach life's challenges.
Education/Training
I received my Masters in Multicultural Clinical Mental Health from the University of Colorado. I received my Masters in Business Administration from Wagner College.
