Her work helps people overcome traumatic events, reestablish healthy attachments, and restore the connections and trust essential to fulfilling lives and relationships.
Michelle's specialization is in the treatment of issues arising from the foster/adoption experience. She has dedicated her postgraduate training to the areas of development, attachment, neuroscience, and psychoanalysis. She works from an attachment perspective to help adoptive families, adoptees, parents, and individuals build secure and trusting relationships.
Michelle Harwell MFT, is a well-respected licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and speaker on attachment, trauma, and early childhood development.
