Cadenza Center for Psychotherapy and the Arts is a South Florida agency serving children, adolescents, and adults with developmental, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral needs using active, creative, and enriching treatment interventions.
From its inception in 2000 as Cadenza Music Therapy, Inc., our team became widely known as the premier music therapy service provider in southeastern Florida. Our staff was respected and sought-after for its high quality, advanced clinical practice, results-oriented interventions, and sound ethical treatment.
Working collaboratively with each child's therapy team to achieve optimal goals, Cadenza Center staff now includes Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Board-Certified Music Therapists and art therapists who treat a variety of issues.

Bio
Dr. Hintz is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in the treatment of autism and developmental disabilities, and behavioral disorders. She has also been a practicing, board-certified music therapist for 17 years and holds Bachelor's & Master's degrees in music therapy. She has extensive training in behavior modification, Communication Systems, psychodynamic and systems theories, couples and family therapy, and developmental psychology.
Dr. Hintz completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Carlos Albizu University & her doctoral internship at Miami Children's Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Hintz has worked with populations including children with various physical disabilities, learning disabilities, conduct and behavioral disorders, mood disorders, relationship issues, & personality disorders.
