Your Partner in Achieving Health and Wellness
Patti Carey, L.Ac.
Serving Plano, McKinney, Allen, Frisco, and surrounding communities, I have over 12 years experience, and I focus on identifying your health and wellness goals, and then working with you to achieve your goals. Whether pain management, sports injuries, nutritional and digestive issues, weight management, or stress-related symptoms, we will work together to achieve maximum results.
Education/Training
I attended the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, from which I obtained a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. I also hold a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Houston,Clear Lake, TX, and a BBA in Organizational Development and Management from the University of Houston, Houston, TX. Prior to entering Oriental Medicine I was a Navy nurse, a hospital administrator, and a hyperbaric physiology research associate.

I also am licensed Holistic Health Practitioner (CA), a licensed massage therapist (TX and CA), a second degree Reiki practitioner (Usui Tradition), a clinical hypnotherapist, and an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) advanced practitioner. I am thoroughly trained in techniques such as Master Tung’s Acupuncture, Dr. Richard Tan’s balancing technique, and Matt Callison, L.Ac. Motor Point Muscle Balancing.

As a certified professional speaker and trainer (through Development Dimensions, International), I enjoy speaking to groups or organizations interested in learning more about acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and how this ancient tradition of health care can help people accomplish their health goals and live healthier, pain free lives.
