I also am a certified Tai Chi teacher, Nosara Pranassage practitioner, and offer Meditation instruction and support students in developing both a philosophical and practical approach to Tantra Yoga. Although I teach group sessions, the majority of my work is now in private practice with individual clients. I include some ayurvedic components to most of the session work I provide. Small group session work and work with families is also an option.

Bio

Per Erez is a yoga practitioner, teacher, and educator. His approach to teaching yoga has been influenced most notably by Kripalu Yoga, Integrative Yoga Therapy, and numerous teachers’ within the Krishnamacharya lineage and the Integral studies of Ken Wilber. In addition to over 2000 hours of certified study in yoga, Per also teaches Tai Chi, and offers Nosara Pranassage™ sessions-- a yoga-based wellness modality-- akin to Thai-style yoga therapy. He brings to his practice a background in yoga teacher education, having directed yoga teacher training programs locally at Eight Limbs Yoga Center, supported, consulted or staffed teacher trainings at Global Yoga Center, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and The Kaivalyadhama Ashram of India. Per’s local teaching experience is diverse-- including previous experience in traditional yoga centers, corporations, health clubs, hospitals and social service agencies throughout Chicago. His work had been documented locally on the WGN Chicago channel 9 News as well as being featured on Oprah. Per is designated at the E-RYT 500 level through the National Yoga Alliance, a supporting member of the International Association of Yoga Therapist, and affiliated with the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association. A photographic installation at the United Nations building in New York City included photos of him in 2000, and for the last 18 years, he has traveled to Mexico on personal vacation and spiritual retreat.
