Education
Raymond received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy (cum laude) from the University of California, San Diego, and his Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from the University of San Diego (an AAMFT accredited program).
Bio
Raymond has been specializing in the field of Intimate Partner Violence since 1995 including designing and implementing outcome research on shelter effectiveness, working with victims and families experiencing family violence, as well as treating perpetrators in Batterer Intervention Programs. Raymond worked in Child Welfare Services for San Diego County Children’s Services Bureau (CPS) in the Family Violence Unit (a collaborative project between Children Services Bureau & the San Diego County Department of Adult Probation).
Raymond currently is an Affiliate Faculty member of the University of San Diego Marriage & Family Therapy program as well as a Trainer for the Academy for Professional Excellence through the San Diego State University School of Social Work.
Memberships
Raymond is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a clinical member California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and the Past President of the Southwest Riverside County Chapter of CAMFT.
