Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology are often effective for a wide range of complaints including many types of pain arthritis fibromyalgia, fatigue, menstrual and fertility problems, respiratory illnesses, digestive disorders, addictions, stress, sports injuries, arthritis, hypertension, anxiety and depression, insomnia and side effects from cancer treatment.

Our state of health is reflected in our physical fitness and vitality, our emotional responsiveness and serenity, our mental clarity and creativity and our morale and sense of purpose. When there is an underlying harmony and balance in our system, we enjoy optimum well-being. When we experience symptoms of ill health and disease, acupuncture seeks to restore our natural balance so each of us can experience our birthright of health.

Patients committed to a healthy lifestyle who utilize acupuncture treatment for their health issues as well as for ongoing preventive care often experience:

• Being sick less often and recovering more quickly

• Improvement of vitality and stamina

• Reductions in long term health care costs

• More capacity for emotional equilibrium

My approach to healing is to enter into a caring and supportive partnership with you to enhance your intrinsic capacity for health and well-being in all aspects of life. This is a partnership where responsibility is shared. In deepening our understanding of how healing occurs, our relationship to symptoms and illness shifts. We begin to see how they give us important messages as to where we are most vulnerable and provide in themselves the keys to moving beyond them in achieving well-being. We become more attuned to our needs and rhythms and realize we are an interconnected whole of body/emotions/mind and spirit. We more clearly understand the internal and external factors (diet, exercise, environmental stress, attitudes, fears, worries, etc.) which contribute to our state of health. Instead of being reactive to illness, we choose to become pro-active in preventing illness and learn to manage our own health effectively
