Find the Path to Self-Discovery
As a Cognitive-behavioral therapist, my goal is to guide you on the path to self-discovery to help you and your family lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Through the use of different therapy approaches and techniques, we will uncover long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you or your family back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

If you, or someone you love, are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Bio
I am a licensed Marriage Family therapist specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. I maintain a small private practice in the Sacramento area.

With over 11 years experience in the mental health and behavioral fields, specializing in cognitive behavioral theory, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad range of clients. Among my areas of expertise are children and adolescents on the Autistic spectrum or with developmental delays, individuals suffering with anxiety and depression, parent related concerns, and victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse.

In addition to working with children, I have written and facilitated numerous parent-behavioral trainings and am currently certified as a child/adolescent parent trainer for Active Parenting. I have also facilitated social skills, anger management, and sex offending groups. I also enjoy helping couples with relationship issues. As a cognitive behavioral therapist, my therapeutic approach is to the provide support and practical feedback that will help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate an eclectic therapeutic approach which ranges from using experiential based approaches, such as art and sand tray, to cognitive based intervention including biblotherapy and assessments. This allows me to offer a highly personalized approach for each of my clients. With compassion, understanding, and reflection, I work with each individual or family member to help build on personal strengths and encourage growth.
