Sammi Siegel, Ph.D., LMHC
The Most Compassionate and Professional
Psychotherapy Experience You Could Receive!
I see a variety of clientele including individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. I see couples as well as families. In addition, I specialize in treating eating disorders. Although I do treat the entire range of eating disorders, I concentrate on the obesity end of the spectrum, particularly, binge-eating disorder and compulsive overeating. If you are in need of a comprehensive psychosocial evaluation prior to weight loss surgery, I am able to provide that service for you. As a member of the first Special Interest Group on the creation of the domains needed to be assessed prior to surgery, I am able to provide for you, the most expertise in this area of your health care. As well as working with individuals struggling with the relationship with food, I also specialize in working with families through divorce. I am a member of the Collaborative Family Law Institute in Miami, Florida and serve as the mental health professional (MHP) on the collaborative divorce team. As a board member and education committee chair of the Collaborative Family Law Institute, I am committed to helping families transition into a new family structure. To make it easy on people coming to my office, I see clients in my office everyday beginning at 8:00am until 6:00pm. If necessary, I see people on the weekends, as well. I hold privacy and confidentiality with the utmost respect. At Siegel Counseling Services, you can wait in a very comfortable waiting room where there will be no other people walking in or out. Parking is free in the back of the building.
