I receive great satisfaction from helping individuals and couples resolve issues that are causing distress. In a safe space while learning practical tools, our work together creates healing and resolution. I use EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) to resolve traumatic events as well as negative thoughts which keep you from reaching your full potential. The Enneagram of personality types helps create a deeper self understanding and compassion for others in your life. Mindfullness is another important aspect of how I work; learning relaxation and stress reduction techniques are beneficial to leading a healthy life.

Bio
Having been born in California I had the good fortune to remain in the San Francisco Bay area. My associate degree was in sociology which I received from the University of California at Davis I graduated with a degree in Social Work from Sacramento State College.. After raising a family I returned to graduate school to obtain a degree in counseling Psychology. I have a private practice in San Francisco and Los Altos. I am co-director of the Couples Resource Center in Palo Alto and have taught workshops in couples communication privately as well as at Foothill college. I have advanced training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
