Bio
I can’t wait to help you get back to the happy and healthy family relationships that you want. If you are struggling with a relationship with your children or spouse and find yourself constantly frustrated, depressied, or anxious now is the time to re-connect and I am confident I can help you do just that!
Every therapy session is individually planned based on your goals, but overall you can expect that we will spend time getting to know you and your child, the problems that you are experiencing and what your goals for treatment are. I will then involve you and your child in activities and interventions that are individualized to meet your goals. My treatment style usually involves play-based activities such as crafts, games and interaction. My hope is that in each and every session you will enjoy your child and leave with more love and understanding of one another. Between sessions, I might ask you to do certain activities at home as well.
I am a Bakersfield native through and through from my birth at Memorial Hospital through graduation from Cal State Bakersfield!
I am the fifth of 6 kids and now have a family of my own. I have been married 9 years and have one daughter.
My passion in counseling is with children, couples and families. I love to watch families reconnect where there was once pain, frustration and anger. I believe that relationships are a vital part of who we are and enrich our lives in so many ways! Therapy can be such a great way to strengthen great relationships and tend to those that are causing pain.
