All of Your Speech & Language Needs
Tanya Gibbs is an independent and licensed Speech Language Pathologist servicing all of your speech and language needs in the Middle Tennessee Areas. She provides speech and language evaluations and therapy to individuals ranging from ages 2 years of age to adult age. Evaluations usually last for 1 hour and comes with a typed report, which will be recieved 2-3 days after the evaluation takes place. If speech therapy is necessary, therapy sessions can last from 30-60 minutes depending on the individuals need. Evaluations and therapy sessions can take place either in the clients home, a local library, a local restaurant, or any other place of choice.
Education/Training
Tanya attended high school in Jackson, MS She attended Tennessee State University and while there she obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Speech Lanuage Pathology and a Master's of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science.
Bio
Tanya is originally from Jackson, MS. She moved to Nashville, TN in 2001 to attend Tennessee State University. While at Tennessee State, she obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree in Speech Lanuage Pathology and a Master's of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science. She has had the opportunity to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in a variety of settings. Some of the settings include, the school setting, home health and skilled nursing facilities.
Memberships
Tanya currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
