Our Mission

The Counseling Center in the Berkshires’ twofold mission is –

To provide psychotherapy for healing and growth in relationships, moving toward greater awareness and capacity for communication, respect for self and others, and the ability to engage life more whole-heartedly, and
To provide opportunities for learning through workshops, seminars, consultation and supervision.

Our Belief

We believe that every person has an essential spiritual dimension which centers the person, draws toward integration, and calls toward ultimate possibilities of healing and creativity.

Our Culture

Our clinical and teaching staff represent the licensed disciplines of pastoral counseling, clinical psychology, and social work. These professionals actively create a community that nurtures growth, accountability, and continuing development. Our clinicians are guided by the ethical codes of our professional organizations.

Our Structure

The Counseling Center in the Berkshires is a not-for-profit organization, governed by a community-based board of directors. Services are provided by licensed therapists at several locations in Western Massachusetts.

The Counseling Center in the Berkshires is a private, non-profit counseling center that provides a personal and confidential setting where experienced clinicians help people in distress.

CCB has offices in Pittsfield, Williamstown, and Great Barrington, Massachusetts. All CCB therapists are licensed and most insurances and HMO plans are accepted.
