I have over 20 years experience in the mental health field. I specialize in trauma (EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing),anxiety, anger management, depression, dreamwork, play therapy, PCIT (Parent-Child Interactive Therapy) for children with challenging behaviors like hitting, kicking, biting, defiance etc. and attachemt therapy. I work well with adolescents and people of all ages. I use mindfulness techniques, including DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and EFT (Emotion Focused (couples) Therapy). I work well with people of color and lgbt.
Education/Training
Master of Sciene from California State University, Chico 2001. Five-year internship at various local agencies, including Feather River Tribal Health, Catalyst, Northern Valley Indidan Health, Parent Education Network. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist 2006, in private practice since 5/06. Teaching master's-level courses at Chico State.
