Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available, believing that an Effective Treatment Depends On An Accurate Diagnosis. Individuals should not have to “play doctor” by researching available treatments and then self-selecting which of these treatments has been scientifically validated and would be most appropriate for themselves or their family. At Portrait Health Centers, we provide a comprehensive and multi-specialty assessment to determine the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporate an appropriate treatment plan.
Specialties: Including but not limited to Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Addiction, Grief and Loss, Suicidal Ideations, Self-harm, Self-Esteem, Severe and Chronic Mental Illness, Mood Disorders, Thought Disorders, Emotional and Behavioral Issues, Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anger/Stress Management, Familial/Relationship Conflict, Autism Spectrum, ADHD. Child, Adolescent, Adult, Family, and Individual Therapy

“There is no such thing as normal and no such thing as crazy; people are people.”

Some view therapy as intimidating, but I want you to look at it as an adventure! It is a process that helps you reach your ultimate goals and I truly believe it’s a powerful tool. If you are looking for tools to help alleviate symptoms, I can help with that. If you want to explore and find the reasons, I can help with that too! I take a collaborative approach and make sure my clients feel empowered throughout the therapy process. I believe there is not one correct approach to therapy and adjust to meet each individual client’s needs. Working with people is my passion, and I promise a nonjudgmental, honest, and even humorous ride.

I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mount Mary University in Wisconsin. I knew I wanted to help people at a very young age so I started studying Psychology in high school. I have years of experience working in the helping field. I started my journey volunteering in hospitals and for mental health crisis lines. I have experience working in outpatient, in-home, overseas, corrections and inpatient facility settings. I have worked with a wide range of ages from children to geriatrics. I’m excited that my journey has led me here and that I will get the opportunity to help you on your path to wellness.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my pup, Meeko, and my bunny, RC. I love everything outdoors from hiking to enjoying a book on the patio. I love travelling, reading, music, and enjoying days at home. I love laughing so I’m always up for a comedy or good joke. I always say that if I laugh once in a day—that’s a good day.
