You might be seeking therapy to get past long-standing anxiety, depression, trauma or other emotional hurdles. As a therapist who offers psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy, I work to help you uncover the unconscious conflicts that drive these painful feelings and are the barrier to lasting progress. These unconscious patterns often can affect your relationships, cause physical pain, unwanted dependencies, loneliness, insomnia, phobia, career dissatisfaction and rage.

Together, we can bravely and safely explore the different parts of who you are, bringing to light desires and fears that underly the pain you have been experiencing. Our work can help you move forward to accept all parts of yourself and find new ways of being, producing long-lasting change so you can find your own unique and fulfilling way to live your life.

It is important that you find someone with whom you are comfortable to do this work. I invite you to schedule an initial consultation with me to see if we are a good fit for each other.

Bio
I work with patients suffering from long-term depression, anxiety and feelings of dissatisfaction with their personal and professional lives. Many issues are connected to deeper feelings about yourself and early conflict, trauma or abandonment. We unravel the knot to loosen the symptoms that have been gripping you and you will gradually feel a sense of improvement as you learn more about yourself.

I offer therapy in person at my comfortable office in Union Square/Gramercy on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and virtually on Tuesdays. I am in network for Anthem (formerly Empire BCBS), Cigna and Carillon Behavioral Health, but I can provide an invoice for out-of-network patients to seek reimbursement. I am happy to work with you on a sliding scale fee to help make therapy more accessible.
