Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available, believing that an Effective Treatment Depends On An Accurate Diagnosis. Individuals should not have to “play doctor” by researching available treatments and then self-selecting which of these treatments has been scientifically validated and would be most appropriate for themselves or their family. At Portrait Health Centers, we provide a comprehensive and multi-specialty assessment to determine the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporate an appropriate treatment plan.

It has been said that life is mostly about showing up and moving forward. I have worked in the field for 15 years and feel called to my profession of counseling. I know that showing up can be difficult at times, but is so important to me personally and professionally. I work with clients and am passionate about my work, but also am a very warm, compassionate, caring person. I have worked in various settings of outpatient and case management and specifically like a challenge. I consider myself a work in progress and am successful with working collaboratively with clients for 15 years. Therapeutically I believe in a Rogerian approach utilizing unconditional positive regard and pull from other theorists being eclectic.

I received my Master’s degree in Counseling from Kean University and my undergraduate from Hofstra University. I also taught for years in the New York school system. My professional work has led me to receive an award in my field - the “Special Leadership Award”.

Gandhi said, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Together we can work collaboratively on implementing the changes that you wish to see.

In my spare time, I play basketball with my husband, walk, and faithfully visit a neighbor’s dog each night. I swim in my condominium’s pool in the summer and go to concerts in the park.
